Privacy Policy
How Cerebral Authority collects, uses, and protects your data.
Overview
Cerebral Authority ("CA," "we," "us," or "our") provides commercialization consulting services for product founders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding that information.
Information We Collect
When you book a session or submit a form on this site, we collect the information you provide directly, which may include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your responses to intake and assessment questions (e.g. details about your product, business, and goals)
We do not knowingly collect information beyond what is needed to evaluate your inquiry.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit to:
- Evaluate your inquiry and determine whether there is a fit for our consulting services
- Contact you regarding your booking or submission, including to schedule a session or request additional information
- Maintain internal records related to our intake and engagement process
We do not use your information for any purpose beyond evaluating and responding to your submission and, if an engagement begins, delivering our services to you.
Cookies & Analytics
This site uses, or may use, Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked, and whether a booking was started. This measurement data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store visitor IP addresses.
For visitors in regions that require consent (such as the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), analytics storage is disabled by default and activates only if consent is given (Google Consent Mode). You can also opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or limit cookies through your browser settings.
The embedded Calendly scheduler on our booking section sets its own cookies when you interact with it, governed by Calendly's privacy policy. Our hosting provider (Vercel) produces standard, short-lived server logs needed to operate and secure the site.
How We Share Your Information
Cerebral Authority does not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate our business — for example, the email, scheduling, form, analytics, and workflow-automation tools we use to receive inquiries, manage correspondence, measure site usage, and book sessions. These providers process data on our behalf and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to evaluate your inquiry. If we begin an engagement with you, we retain relevant information for the duration of that engagement and for a reasonable period afterward for our business and legal records. If we do not move forward together, we retain your submission only as long as reasonably needed for our internal records, after which it may be deleted.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws — including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.
